Bringing Loved Ones Home

No family should have to choose between saying goodbye with dignity and what they can afford.

The Forget Me Not Fund was created to help Yellowstone County families facing financial hardship after the death of a loved one. During one of life's most difficult moments, many families discover they simply cannot afford final arrangements. Too often, this leaves them feeling overwhelmed, helpless, and without options.

We believe every family deserves the opportunity to bring their loved one home.

Our mission is to provide gap assistance by helping cover the difference between what a family can contribute and the remaining cost of cremation or other approved final arrangements. Families are expected to contribute what they are able, and The Forget Me Not Fund works to bridge the financial gap through generous donations from our community.

Funds are paid directly to the funeral home or service provider on behalf of the family. We do not provide cash assistance to individuals.

As a developing nonprofit, assistance is provided as funding is available. Every donation helps another family experience compassion, dignity, and the opportunity to keep their loved one close.
