The Forget Me Not Fund was founded on a simple belief: no family should lose the ability to bring their loved one home due to financial hardship.

In Yellowstone County, families facing the unexpected loss of a loved one may find themselves unable to afford cremation services. For some, the only available option is county assistance, which can result in the loss of the family's ability to receive and keep their loved one's cremated remains.

The Forget Me Not Fund was created to provide another path.

By working directly with local funeral homes and cremation providers, we help families receive dignified direct cremation services, a choice of urn, up to ten death certificates, and the return of their loved one's cremated remains to their family.

Every life deserves to be remembered. Every family deserves the opportunity to honor their loved one in a way that brings comfort, dignity, and peace.
